I want to let you all know that I’ve made the hard decision to end my time with the Red Hurricanes. I returned to New Zealand for treatment of my injury. I am currently rehabbing to return to field and the doctor has advised me that it is important to take the time to recover well. This decision was not one I took lightly, but is in the best interests of both the team and myself.
I have enjoyed my time living in Osaka, making new friends and experiencing Japanese culture. I’ll forever be a Red Hurricanes supporter and wish the team all the best for the upcoming season.

私はレッドハリケーンズを退団するという難しい決断をした事をお知らせします。
私は怪我の治療のため、ニュージーランドに戻りました。現在、復帰に向けてリハビリをしていますが、医師から『復帰までにしっかりと時間をかけて回復させることが大切』とアドバイスを受けています。この決断は決して容易なものではなく、チームと私自身の双方にとって最善の決断となります。大阪での生活や新しい友達作り、日本文化とたくさんの経験を楽しませていただきました。
私は永遠にレッドハリケーンズのサポーターであり、チームがこれからのシーズンにベストを尽くす事を願っております。
