皆さん、エセイ ハアンガナです。 まず私にパナソニック ワイルドナイツに加入する機会を与えてくれたコーチング、マネジメントスタッフの方々に感謝申し上げます。早くチームに合流し、パナソニックの選手たち、ファンの皆さんの前で一緒に練習し、試合をすることを楽しみにしています。

I just wanted to say Thank You to the coaching staff and management for giving me the opportunity to join the Panasonic Wild Knights. I’m looking forward to getting in to training, catching up with the boys and playing in front of the Panasonic members and fans.

3シーズンに亘ってパナソニック ワイルドナイツの一員であったことに心より感謝致します。このクラブを代表し、たくさんの素晴らしいアスリートそして男たちと一緒にプレーできたことを誇りに思います。パナソニックには、このような機会を与えてくださり、改めて感謝申し上げます。また2008年にワラビーズとしての最初の機会を与えてくれ、私のキャリアにとって多大な影響を与えてくれたロビー ディーンズ監督とさらに多くの時間を共有できたことは、正真正銘のハイライトとなりました。私のこのクラブでの時間を非常に楽しいものにしていただいたワイルドナイツの首脳陣、すべてのコーチ、そしてスタッフの皆様に感謝を申し上げます。
日本のラグビーがどんどん強くなっていく時代にこの国でプレーできたことはエキサイティングであり、私にラグビーという競技について今までと違う観点や機会を与えてくれました。またパナソニックと日本のラグビーにとって、明るい未来を約束された多くの若い選手たちを見られたことは素晴らしい経験となりました。
私は、太田市での生活が大好きでした。私が太田市にいた期間で、本当にフレンドリーでホスピタリティーに溢れた人たちに出会うことができました。
私のラグビーキャリアを終えるにあたり、自身の次のステージを楽しみにしています。
そして、これからもワイルドナイツの今後を熊谷のワイルドナイツサポーターの皆さんと一緒に応援し続けたいと思います。

I’m really grateful to have been a part of the Panasonic Wild Knights across three seasons. It has been an honour to represent the club and a lot of fun to play alongside so many great athletes and men. I’d like to thank Panasonic for the opportunity. It was also a real highlight getting to spend more time with Robbie Deans, who gave me my first opportunity with the Wallabies in 2008 and has played a big role in my career. I’d like to thank the Wild Knights leadership, all the coaches and support staff for making my time at the club so enjoyable.
Playing rugby in Japan at a time when rugby is going from strength to strength was exciting and gave me a different perspective on the game and the opportunities it creates. It was great to see so many young players coming through who have a bright future with Panasonic and Japanese rugby.
I loved my time in Ota-shi. The people I met during my time there were truly some of the most friendly, hospitable people I’ve met. With my rugby career coming to an end I am looking forward to what is next. I look forward to cheering the Wild Knights on in the future alongside other Wild Knights supporters in Kumagaya in the future.

今まで応援ありがとうございました！
2年半、ファンの皆様や家族の支えのおかげで、仲間と共に上を目指しハードなトレーニングを乗り越えられたことを誇りに思います。
個人で目標していたトップリーグの試合には出場できませんでしたが、パナソニックで身につけたスキルを次のステージで僕なりに活かしていきたいと思っています。
これからもパナソニックワイルドナイツの応援よろしくお願いします。

日本で過ごした時間を通して、素晴らしい経験と素晴らしい友人たちを得ることができました。
