パナソニック ワイルドナイツより、クイーンズランド レッズとの業務提携について発表がありましたので、ご紹介します。

“Announcement on Business Alliance Agreement between Panasonic WILD KNIGHTS and QUEENSLAND REDS”
この度、パナソニック ワイルドナイツは、クラブ運営/事業運営/選手およびスタッフの強化育成を目的として、オーストラリアの伝統ある強豪クラブ、クイーンズランド レッズと業務提携契約を締結しました。
Panasonic WILD KNIGHTS would like to announce that we have agreed to a Business Alliance Agreement with the QUEENSLAND REDS who have an honourable history and are regarded as one of the best rugby clubs in Australia. The purpose of the relationship is to develop each other’s club and business management as well as the players and staff.
既報の通り、パナソニック ワイルドナイツは、2021年8月より現在の群馬県太田市から埼玉県熊谷市に本拠地を移します。本業務提携を通じて、両クラブの強化発展はもとより、それぞれの本拠地となる埼玉県とクイーンズランド州において、ラグビーを通じた地域振興策及び青少年育成の施策に協力し、両自治体から業務提携関係への協力を得るため、両自治体が結んでいる姉妹提携とも連携して4者間の関係構築を行います。
As announced earlier this year, Panasonic WILD KNIGHTS will move its home base from Ota city, Gunma prefecture to Kumagaya city, Saitama prefecture in August 2021 and both clubs would like to build a strong relationship with our regional governments, that is, Saitama prefecture and the State of Queensland, who already have a historically strong relationship as Sister states. The intent is to promote and develop both regions and their young generations through the activities of Rugby Football. It is also the intent for the clubs to get support and engagement from the regional governments to develop the clubs’ alliance relationship.
本提携により、選手及びスタッフ同士が交流してそれぞれの成長を促し、クラブ経営/チーム運営についての意見交換を積極的に行うなど、互いの発展に寄与する関係性を構築していきます。そして、2021年12月には、熊谷ラグビー場にクイーンズランドレッズを迎えての国際親善試合も予定しています。
This alliance will aim to build the relationship to contribute to both clubs’ development through players/staff interactions between the both clubs and proactive dialogues/exchanging ideas about our club and team management. And we are also planning to invite QUEENSLAND REDS to Kumagaya Rugby Stadium as an inaugural international friendly match.
なお、コロナ禍が落ち着き次第、改めて両自治体様と両クラブが合同で協力関係構築に関する報告の場を持つことを企図しております。
With the situation of COVID-19 at the moment, once the current situation is settled, we are planning to set up an occasion to report the club – regional government relationship by the representatives from both the clubs and the governments.

It is an honour and privilege that we have reached to an agreement with the QUEENSLAND REDS for our business alliance. This Alliance Agreement intends not only the development of the two clubs but also to contribute to the development of our home towns, Saitama Prefecture and the State of Queensland. We would like to create the new model of making the social and regional contributions through the rugby activities by working with the local governments.
